So yesterday I was shooting the chairman of Harman Technology, who own Ilford Photo, in Mobberley, Cheshire. I found myself walking around the factory, where the walls were covered in the most iconic black & white photography prints of the last 130 years, with my digital camera! No pressure there then!

Finally had a chance to photograph Eros & Psyche before they are fully grown. Brother & sister, we picked them up from a rescue home aged 4 months old, although Eros does look like he should be Psyche's dad, he'd been eating all the other kittens food at the rescue home! He's on a diet now!

Big day, small job, first piece of work for The Chase, albeit a simple product shot. Thought while I was set up I would shoot this old rotary dial phone in Mexican Brown! There are a 1000 or more quirky objects stored at the back of the studio, so I will make a point of photographing one a week to post up here.

This week I was fortunate enough to photograph some exquisite objects d'art, all painstakingly hand made by Henry Feigl. Watch this space for some extraordinary talent and if you need some hand made, bespoke jewelry, this is the man to see.

This is a copy of 'Lilly of the Valley Flower Study' by Faberge, but is made using the same materials! I doubt this has been copied in such an exact way, using rock crystal for the vase, hand carved Nephrite Jade leaves, 18ct yellow gold stems set with pearls and rose cut diamonds!

The original is now owned by the Queen, but before that Henry's grandmother owned it, so he knows what he's talking about!

Everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest adult, experiences anxieties and fears at one time or another.

Anxiety is apprehension without apparent cause, occurring when there is no immediate threat.
We are tormented by such fears usually from childhood experiences.

These images gained me the overall winner of the SUNRISE award for emerging photographers in the North of England, February 2010.
