A quick update today, some product shots for Illamasqua's new Shattered Star Nail Varnish, in Trilliant. It's very good, try it.

All in the Foundation

These shots were taken last summer on a gloriously hot day in London, for a well known make-up company, along with a "how to" tutorial on applying makeup. When you have a great team of stylists, makeup, hair and models, combined with a stunning location and some blue sky, it's hard to go wrong.

Last month was a busy month shooting corporate portraits for ABN AMRO Commercial Finance at their offices in Manchester and Haywards Heath, Sussex - getting serious people to SMILE!

SVE Fashion

December saw me working together with the amazingly talented Sally Ellis of Sve Fashion, creating a look book for her new collection. Sally won designer of the year at Fashions Finest 2012 and all the stars from Denise Welch to Rebecca Ferguson can be seen wearing Sve! www.svefashion.com

Hair & makeup by the amazingly talented Richard Philipart, who spends most of his time jumping from New York, London or Paris Fashion Shows working for the top fashion names. Not forgetting too Tessa Burton, a fantastic model in deed. Lucky to be all working in my small Cheshire Studio! Can't wait for the next shoot. 

Manchester United Legends Leisure Cruise

I can finally show you this shot for Manchester United's Legends Leisure Cruise Museum & Tour, taken this time last year, when we had some snow at least! Working with TBWA Manchester this is the first of three which were displayed in United's Red Cafe.

CHEESE

I've been so busy this last 6 months I hadn't realised I had neglected to update my blog since July 2013. So I appologise for the sudden splurge of work!

July saw me back at the Nantwich Cheese Festival working for Cathedral City Cheese. I thought I would take the opportunity to use my sponsors pass to enter the trade day and get some personal work done, shooting portraits with the new portable flash kit I had picked up off eBay

Some tractors, after all it is an agricultural show and not all about CHEESE.

The Chase - Esse Stoves

Last month saw me putting my DIY skills (including some rough plastering) to use as I built a set to photograph one of Esse's new electric cookers. The job was commissioned by The Chase, the brief they gave me allowed for some very moody lighting. After finding a suitable location that allowed us to place the wall in situ along with the stove, we were able to use props from the antique shop next door.

The Chapel - Peckham

Last month saw me trying my hand as second DOP for a "how to" video for a well known beauty brand. The location was a fantastic, but very cold, bombed out church in Peckham, London. Had to get some stills with such a stunning location, model, hair and makeup!

Man United

I've recently been working with Manchester United and TBWA and had the very rare privilege to tread on hallowed ground whilst shooting portraits of David Gill, now former CEO of Manchester United.

Cupcakes and Co

Yesterday I met up with Jacks & Jools of Cupcakes and Co after they had made some 600 or more delicious cupcakes for this weekends food fair in Knutsford, Cheshire. Some simple lighting and a clean white background was all that was needed to show of these exquisite cupcakes.

The proof was in the pudding I guess. And yes I did eat them afterwords and they were delicious!

Cat Amongst the Pigeons

A few months back I had the privilege of been driven round Upton By Chester Golf Club, in a buggy, taking pics of this very scenic golf course and its members. My co driver was Saul Peak of Cat Amongst the Pigeons

Crabbie's Cocktails

  A spiffing day was had shooting Crabbie's new range of non-alcoholic drinks, with Abi Whitfield from McCann Manchester mixing up some fantastic non-alcoholic cocktails. Thanks goes out to the Canvas Lounge in Knutsford, Cheshire and their very helpful bar staff. Canvas Lounge, Knutsford.

Marber Merchandise & Max Factor

        Last month saw me working with another new client, Marber Promotions & Marketing Ltd, based in Hale, Cheshire. They manufacture and design the official Max Factor merchandise, the make-up of make-up artists. We photographed the new range for their new website, being designed by Simon Roberts. Global sales of the Max Factor merchandise will be through this website. Marber also manufacture and design a number of other Procter & Gamble brands.
